Jasmine is the founder of Kiwi Kids Outdoors and a mum of two who knows firsthand how valuable time in nature can be for family wellbeing.

She grew up in Mārahau, on the doorstep of the Abel Tasman National Park, where her parents ran a sea kayaking company. Her childhood was packed with adventures—tramping, camping, kayaking, snowboarding, rock climbing, rafting, and more—though her best memories are the simple ones, like exploring the tidal pools of Mārahau Beach with her brother and local kids.

Those early experiences, along with completing an Outward Bound course as a teenager, showed her the powerful impact the outdoors has on wellbeing. Today, through Kiwi Kids Outdoors, Jasmine is passionate about creating opportunities for other whānau to connect with nature—through both big adventures and simple everyday moments.
